In 2013, our co-founders moved into a Cardiff bungalow with three management companies in a row that lost rent checks, ignored maintenance, and disappeared at lease renewal. They quit their jobs in 2014 to do it differently.
The plan was modest: ten homes, all within five miles of the Pacific, all answered by name. Twelve years later we're at 340 homes from Carlsbad to La Jolla — but every owner still has a named manager, and every resident still gets a reply within a day.
